What the MMG Treatment Package Includes

• Pre-operative checks – Safety comes first. Every patient at our accredited hospitals undergoes a structured pre-op review to ensure suitability.
• Full cost of hospital treatment – Once in hospital, all clinical costs are included within your package. There are no hidden fees for theatre, ward stay or standard consumables listed in your treatment plan.
• Integrated post-operative care (as required) – When your procedure requires hospital-led follow-up, it is built into the package.
• Remote post-operative check-up within 90 days – You will have a scheduled virtual review after your treatment, ensuring continuity and recovery support.
• Dedicated English-speaking customer care – Clear communication from start to finish, so language barriers never compromise your experience.
• Transfers to/from the airport – We remove stress at the most vulnerable points of travel, providing safe arrival and departure transfers.

What Is Not Included

• Travel to/from the country of treatment – Flights and rail are excluded, giving you full freedom to choose your preferred carrier, schedule and fare type.
• Accommodation & meals (outside of hospital stay) – Everyone’s needs and budgets are different, so we leave you free to select your own arrangements.
• Diagnostic tests in the UK pre- and post-treatment – Every patient presents with a different medical history and set of clinical needs, and our accredited hospitals are responsible for determining which specific tests and scans are required to confirm suitability for treatment, both before and after the procedure. Because these requirements vary, and many patients already access local providers, these diagnostic tests are not included in the Treatment Package. However, MMG helps patients arrange them and passes on discounted rates where possible.

Post-Operative Support, NHS Entitlements, and Insurance Protection

After your procedure abroad, your hospital will provide full discharge documentation and monitor your recovery locally, with post-operative support included as outlined in your Healthcare Contract. Once you return home, you remain fully entitled to NHS treatment based on clinical need, regardless of whether your surgery was private or overseas.
