If your hospital is considering joining My Medical Gateway, this guide explains exactly how to get started. From signing our standard terms to onboarding your services, we’ve designed a process that is clear, efficient and fair – ensuring every accredited partner operates to the same high standards across our trusted platform.
At My Medical Gateway (MMG), we are proud to work with Europe’s most trusted and forward-thinking hospital groups. Our mission is to connect self-pay patients in the UK marketplace with exceptional treatment providers in the European Union through a platform that is digital, transparent and fully aligned with both UK and EU regulatory standards. As the NHS continues to face historic delays and challenges, demand for reliable and high-quality cross-border treatment options is growing exponentially.
If you are a CEO or senior legal professional at a hospital group considering joining MMG’s platform, this blog outlines everything you need to know to get started. We have designed our systems and agreements to ensure speed, fairness and absolute clarity. This structure ensures that all participants – large or small – compete and collaborate on equal terms.
The first and most critical step is to review and sign MMG’s standard Healthcare Provider Agreement (HPA) and the accompanying Healthcare Provider Terms & Conditions (T&Cs). These documents are not a bilateral contract between MMG and an individual provider – they are universal terms that govern participation on the platform, just as with any other regulated digital marketplace. Based on English law, they provide a transparent and consistent framework that protects patients and maintains operational integrity. For clarity: they are strictly non-negotiable. This uniformity ensures fairness, legal certainty and high standards for every provider, regardless of size or location.
Once we receive your expression of interest, you will be invited to a video call with our CEO and senior onboarding team. During this session, we will walk you through the full onboarding roadmap, answer your preliminary questions and explain our expectations and timeline. However, please note: this call is purely informational. We cannot go forward with your onboarding until your legal team has reviewed the T&C’s and signed the HPA. The HPA must be returned within 14 calendar days of the introductory call together with proof of authority to sign. This deadline is essential.
This firm window enables our team to prioritise support for hospitals that are committed to joining the platform and ready to meet our onboarding standards. If the HPA is not returned within 14 days, our onboarding team will not be available to provide help and guidance on your next steps.
Once we receive the signed HPA, our experienced onboarding and technical teams will immediately begin the next steps, including:
- Verifying your hospital’s eligibility based on MMG’s published Accreditation Criteria
- Uploading your proposed Treatment Packages and pricing strategy to our secure system
- Supporting technical configuration and data integration on MMG’s digital infrastructure
- Coordinating a required in-person management visit to your nominated hospital to verify facilities and meet the leadership team
MMG is designed as a quality-first platform. We invest heavily in security, transparency and seamless operations. Our systems are GDPR-compliant, and our payment processes are fully secured through Adyen, one of Europe’s leading regulated payment providers. We do not list providers automatically. Only once your hospital passes our internal review – and your leadership has signed the HPA – will your services be activated on the platform and promoted to tens of thousands of UK platform users.
The onboarding process is designed to be rigorous but fair. Our dedicated support team will help you every step of the way, but only after your organisation has accepted the Terms & Conditions and signed the HPA. This ensures that all providers are committed to the same legal, clinical and commercial expectations from the outset.
Together, we are building a modern healthcare marketplace – one that puts the patient first, offers real value to hospitals, and ensures that medical travel is done safely, efficiently and with integrity.
If you’re ready to take the next step, simply confirm your interest and our team will send you the T&Cs for review, along with a personalised HPA for signature.
We look forward to welcoming your organisation to My Medical Gateway.
